Heavy Equipment and Truck Mechanic
We are hiring an experienced heavy equipment, trailer, and truck mechanic for a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Hourly pay will be based on experience.

TB Equipment is a Hyundai Construction Equipment dealership. We sell and install Brandon dump bodies and are dealers for Winston and Cross Country trailers, ASV skid steers, and Autocar trucks. We also perform general repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers. Cummins certifications, Allison transmission training, and an inspection license are preferred. Candidates must have their own tools, a clean driving record, and a dependable work ethic.

Summary:

As a heavy equipment, trailer, and truck mechanic, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of vehicles and heavy machinery. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will use your skills in automotive diagnostics, brake repair, welding, mechanical systems, and hand tools to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently. Experience with excavators, loaders, trucks, customer service, and automotive repair will help support the reliability and performance of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and trucks, including brake, transmission, and hydraulic systems.
• Use hand tools and shop equipment to complete routine maintenance and service work.
• Work with customers to understand service needs and provide professional support.
• Keep accurate repair and service records while following safety standards.
• Stay current on automotive technology and repair methods to support high-quality service.
